Hope you enjoyed another great week and the beginning of October. We have many exciting things happening this month!

This week our next virtual PTO meeting is taking place on Tuesday October 8th at 6pm. We have several fun and exciting updates for October, so please be on the lookout in your email for the link to join us. We also will have a CISD Board of Trustees representative joining us to discuss the upcoming VATRE proposition and help answer your questions. Please mark your calendars, and we will see you soon!

Also, our annual Trunk or Treat planning is underway and we need some help from our FamiLEE. In an effort to support the amazing trunks from our Designer and Staff teams we are collecting candy donations for the event. If you are able to contribute please sign up here!

The Annual RJL Trunk or Treat on October 24th at 5:30pm is one of our favorite community events of the year, but we can't do it without our FamiLEE!

To help support the work our designer teams put into their fabulous trunks, we will be gathering candy donations for them to hand out on the big night!  Please sign up to send in a bag of 150+ pieces of candy with your learner by Wednesday, October 23rd. bit.ly/rjlcandy

Our next virtual PTO Meeting is coming up this Tuesday October 8th at 6pm. We hope you can join us for some important and exciting updates from your PTO and Lee Admin Team. We will also have a Coppell ISD Board of Trustees member present to review the upcoming VATRE proposition and answer any questions you may have. Join CISD for the Annual Community Tailgate featuring food, fun and games from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. before the Oct. 25 Coppell Cowboys Football game vs. Denton Braswell. The event will take place indoors at the CHS Cafeteria Commons. Dickey’s BBQ meals will be sold in advance for $10 each, including a brisket or turkey sandwich meal or a vegetarian baked potato. Order your meals via SchoolPay at go.coppellisd.com/24TailgateMeal by Oct. 18, and be sure to present your receipt at the Community Tailgate to redeem. Game tickets are purchased separately, and kickoff will be at 7 p.m.

This year, your passionate educators have submitted 30 innovative grant requests across our campuses that will continue to elevate and enhance the learning experience for our students.
